Re: [Summary-Talk] Summary 3 layout/CSS

In Summary 3 the overviews are designed for an 800 pixel wide
window/frame. By using a fixed layout we were able to pack a little bit
more information onto a single screen, while keeping it readable, than
we would have been able to achieve with an automatically adjusting layout.

If you have Summary SP Lite or SP you can change the layout of the
overviews in any way you want. The changes you describe would be fairly
simple. You can get an idea of how this works by looking at over.html in
the Extras folder. That is the custom HTML file that Summary SP Lite or
SP would use to display the main overview. It is mostly standard HTML
with some extra tags to tell Summary which bits of data to insert.

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
