[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: [Summary-Talk] Incremental config lockdown
I will add your request to our wish list. One possible work around would be to keep a second copy of Summary with the same configuration except for incremental turned off and no log files. Then you can make configuration changes to that version and transfer them to the "real" copy. There is still a manual step of editing the configuration file, but you can do the config in the GUI and then simply copy over the changes to the other summary.conf file. Note: On the Windows version you need to quit Summary before making changes directly to the configuration file and launch it again after. This is not needed on the other platforms (at least in version 2.6 or newer). For example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system. -- Peter van der Linden, Expert C Programming, Deep C Secrets ------------- Go to <http://summary.net/list.html> to update subscription info.
